The AHA’s Congressional Briefing from March on the history of deportation will air on C-SPAN American History TV on Saturday, April 19, at 3:30 PM ET, and will be available to watch on C-SPAN American History TV’s website. Panelists Hidetaka Hirota (Univ. of California, Berkeley), Ana Raquel Minian Andjel (Stanford Univ.), and Yael Schacher (Refugees International), with moderator James Grossman (American Historical Association), discussed the history of policies related to immigration and deportation throughout US history.
