AHA director of teaching and learning Brendan Gillis and AHA members William G. Thomas III (Montana State Univ. and AHA vice president, Research Division) and Karin Wulf (John Carter Brown Library) were featured in an NPR article on the Founders Museum, a new White House exhibit developed in partnership with PragerU. The museum features 40 AI-generated videos of historical figures sharing their stories, but as Gillis explains, “it’s not always clear [when] the historical figures actually said the words that are coming out of their mouth, or wrote them down, and when this is the work of whoever scripted them.”
