Congratulations to AHA member Sophie White (Univ. of Notre Dame), who has won the 2020 Frederick Douglass Book Prize for Voices of the Enslaved: Love, Labor, and Longing in French Louisiana. Voices of the Enslaved also won the AHA’s 2020 James A. Rawley Prize.
