The AHA’s Guiding Principles for Artificial Intelligence in History Education were featured in the new report from CivxNow and the EDSAFE AI Alliance, States of the Union: Rebuilding American Civics for a Digital Republic, which “[invites] state policymakers to consider the civic implications of artificial intelligence (AI) and how it will impact the next generation.” The AHA’s guiding principles are quoted in the “Policy Recommendations” section of the report.
