AHA executive director James Grossman was featured in an NPR Morning Edition segment on President Trump’s attempt to fire Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery director Kim Sajet. “According to the statutes, the President of the United States does not have the authority to fire an individual museum director,” Grossman said. “That authority lies in the Board of Regents.”
