The Center for Middle Eastern Studies and the Department of Near East Languages and Civilizations is pleased to announce the
33rd Annual Middle East History & Theory Conference

The theme of this year's conference is the intersection of Digital Humanities and pedagogy in contemporary Middle Eastern studies.
Keynote Speaker
Our speaker this year is Professor James Gelvin (University of California, Los Angeles), whose address will be entitled, “Theorizing Nationalism in the Arab Middle East: A Personal Story.”
