March 25, 2018 - Emily Swafford, AHA manager of academic affairs, and Julia Brookins, AHA special projects coordinator, will be speaking at the Gardner Institute's 2018 Annual Gateway Course Experience Conference on March 26 at 8:00 a.m. in Houston, Texas. Their panel, "Imagining New Intro Courses in History,"  will explore what introductory history courses are like today and what they will need to be in the future to engage students and serve the needs of society.
