AHA Executive Director Writes Letter to Arkansas Governor Concerning Howard Zinn Controversy

April 4, 2017 - HB 34, introduced into the Arkansas House of representatives in March, would exclude from public school "curriculum or course materials... any book or other material authored by Howard Zinn... or concerning" such materials.  AHA executive director James Grossman has written a letter to Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, with slightly revised versions sent to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate.
