The Disability History Association is thrilled to announce a new programming series featuring our prize winners! We hope you will join us on September 15, 2026 at 7 pm ET to hear from Dr. Dagmar Herzog, who will be speaking on her award-winning book, The Question of Unworthy Life: Eugenics and Germany’s Twentieth Century. (2024).
Dagmar Herzog is a professor of history at the City University of New York Graduate Center. She writes and teaches on the histories of gender and sexuality, Nazism and the Holocaust, disability activism and care work, psychiatry and psychoanalysis. She is the author of seven books, including “Sex after Fascism,” “Sexuality in Europe,” “Cold War Freud” and “The Question of Unworthy Life.”
