New England Historical Association (NEHA) Fall 2026 Conference

The New England Historical Association (NEHA) – a region affiliate of the AHA – is pleased to announce that its Fall 2026 conference will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT.

The program committee welcomes proposals for presentations on any subject, period, or geographical area from scholars within or outside the New England region.

We invite research from any historical field or subdiscipline, including applied historical scholarship in pedagogy or public history. Complete session proposals as well as single paper proposals are welcome.

Please submit 1-page proposals with brief CV by July 1, 2026 to: Todd Gernes, Program Organizer and NEHA Vice President.
