Event Description

Is There A Border Crisis?
Panel Discussion: 2/18

Since America’s founding, its story has been defined by migration. Today, our country’s system of accepting, rejecting and deporting newcomers is vastly different from the days of its first immigration laws. What’s changed—and what hasn’t?

On Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m., join Villanova University’s Albert Lepage Center for History in the Public Interest for a discussion in Driscoll Auditorium, room 132, on the state of immigration in the United States.

This conversation will be moderated by Villanova Law professor and Director of the Center for Asylum, Refugee, and Emigrant Services Daniel Cortes. Panelists include Hardeep Dhillon, PhD, University of Pennsylvania; Mary Mendoza, PhD, Penn State University; and Lori Nessel, JD, Seton Hall Law School. Registration link: bit.ly/4qmkseu
