Event Description

On Wednesday, September 23 at 6 p.m., join Villanova University’s Albert Lepage Center for History in the Public Interest for a virtual panel conversation about moments in the time when historians were under political scrutiny in countries across the globe.

Experts on China, Russia, Italy, and the United States will discuss historical examples of governments trying to control the work of historians, teachers, curators and preservationists in the modern era.
