Event Description
Founded in 2020, the GradFUTURES Forum is a weeklong professional development conference for ALL Princeton graduate students, which is also FREE and OPEN to graduate students from other institutions across the country and around the world. As part of the Graduate School’s commitment to ensuring equitable access to opportunity, the conference’s goal is to equip all graduate students with the clarity, competencies, connections—and, most of all, the confidence—they need to navigate a complex and ever-evolving career landscape. Featuring dozens of engaging keynote speakers, skill-building workshops, alumni career panels, and cross-sector networking sessions, the GradFUTURES Forum offers dozens of online and in-person programs to support graduate students’ success and prepare them for diverse career pathways within and beyond academia. Participants gain inspiration, practical advice, insights into potential career pathways, expanded skillsets, and lasting connections that will extend well beyond the conference.
The GradFUTURES Forum continues to attract hundreds of graduate students, alumni, faculty, and administrators year after year. As the Graduate School celebrates its 125th Anniversary, the 2026 conference theme is “Preparing Graduate Students for Transformational Impact Within and Beyond the Academy,” and invites graduate students to reflect on the global and societal impact of their doctoral training as they proactively design their futures.
