Common Ground Administrators’ Boot Camp

Common Ground USA is accepting registrants for the Fall 2025 cohort of the Administrators’ Boot Camp — a free national program for higher education administrators navigating conflict and polarization on-campus and beyond. Common Ground USA is the American initiative of Search for Common Ground, the world’s largest peacebuilding organization working on the frontlines of conflict around the globe. The Administrators’ Boot Camp hopes to bring that experience to support campus leaders in a difficult time for students, faculty, and staff alike.

Over the course of six online sessions, administrators will learn and practice how to:

• Communicate during a conflict to build solidarity and avoid harm.
• Manage conflict flashpoints to de-escalate tensions.
• Turn conflict on its head by building unlikely allies.
• Foster a cycle of trust that builds campus resilience to weather future conflicts.
• Develop an action plan to address risks and seize opportunities for campus cohesion and resilience.
