Canadian Historical Association Conference

The CHA is thrilled to announce that its next Annual Meeting will be held Monday-Wednesday, June 1-3, 2026, in Charlottetown, PEI. The event will be hosted by the University of Prince Edward Island.

Prince Edward Island, in addition to being one of Canada’s most beautiful tourist destinations, is reachable by a number of direct flights, and is an easy drive for CHA members from the Maritimes and several of the U.S.’s. eastern states.

The CHA’s Annual Meeting has been organized to align with two other conferences that will be of interest to many members: the conferences of the Canadian Catholic Historical Association (June 3-4) and the Atlantic Canada Studies Association (June 3-5).

Please mark June 1-3, 2026, on your calendars – this will be a novel Annual Meeting in many respects, and we would be delighted if you could join us in PEI!
