Media and Film

Important Deadlines:
Proposals are due by December 5, 2025

Those who present individual papers at the annual meeting may submit their work to the FCH Annals: Journal of the Florida Conference of Historians, the organization’s peer-reviewed journal. Papers published in the journal are eligible to compete for prizes in several categories: the Thomas M. Campbell Award ($250 for the best Professional level paper, including faculty and independent scholars), the Blaine T. Blaine Browne Award ($150 for the best Graduate Student level paper), the J. Calvitt Clarke III Award ($100 for the best Undergraduate Student level), and the Jack McTague Award ($50 for the best Poster). We are also proud to offer the Douglas Astolfi Grant ($750) to assist an undergraduate student in researching a historical topic.
