Public History Employer Report and Survey

To address concerns about job prospects for public historians, a joint task force of the National Council on Public History, the American Association for State and Local History, the American Historical Association, and the Organization of American Historians developed an online survey for public history employers. Based on responses from 401 public history employers, the task force produced this report on trends in public history employment since the 2008 recession.
