The Fellowship on Women and Public Policy, offered by the Center for Women in Government & Civil Society, is a unique opportunity for graduate students who want to improve the status of women. It places talented graduate students in policy-making offices, such as the legislature, a state agency or a nonprofit organization. Fellows work thirty hours a week at the placement and meet weekly for course work and professional development activities. Participants receive a $9,000 stipend to cover living expenses and receive nine graduate credits from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, University at Albany, SUNY.
