Association of Ancient Historians

Jack Cargill, associate professor, Rutgers University, New Brunswick has become secretary-treasurer of the Association and has also assumed the editorship of the Association's newsletter. New England Historical Association

The Association will be offering two new awards. One award will be given to a movie, televison program or series, radio program or series, or other non-print media for its significant contribution to public understanding of the past as it is reconstructed and analyzed by professsional historians. The other award will be given to a historian for professional work on a non-print media as described above. Oral History Association
