The Costume Society of America awards the Stella Blum Research Grant to an undergraduate or graduate student to support a single project focusing on any aspect of North American costume. The award consists of $2,500 plus a travel component of up to $500 to attend the society’s National Symposium to present their completed research. Applicants must be matriculating in a degree program at an accredited institution and must be members of the society (student membership is $45). Application deadline: May 1, 2008.
