Jacob Ingram | Dec 19, 2014

Applications for the 2015 The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) Archives Fellowship programs are now being accepted.

Two or three fellowships will be awarded this year to deserving scholars engaged in graduate-level, post-doctoral, or independent study to conduct research in the JDC Archives, either in New York or Jerusalem. They include the Ruth and David Musher JDC Archives Fellowship, a new fellowship that will complement the Fred and Ellen Lewis JDC Archives Fellowship, established in 2011.

Research topics in the fields of 20th-century Jewish history, general history, and humanitarian assistance will be considered, as well as other areas of research covered in the JDC archival collections.

The amount granted will range from $2,000 to $5,000 per fellow, and applications will be accepted until January 16, 2015.
