• Local Arrangements Committee member Ann LeBar’s affiliation is incorrect in the roster of members. It is Eastern Washington University.

• Added to the roster of members of the Local Arrangements Committee is Shirley Henderson (North Seattle Community Coll.), who is serving as a Work Study Assistant to chair Maureen Murphy Nutting (North Seattle Community Coll.).

• Program Committee member Lynn Mally’s affiliation is incorrect in the roster of members. The correct affiliation is the University of California at Irvine.

• The index of participants (p. 183) incorrectly lists Victoria Harden (National Institutes of Health) as a participant on Session 128. The index should have noted that she is listed on page 128 as a member of the AHA’s Task Force on Public History.

• Ivo Meisner (The Manuscript Society) replaces Scott Peterson (Holland & Knight LLC), and Jennifer Moore (Assistant U.S. Attorney, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York) has been added as a panelist on the presidential session, “Stolen Public Records: Challenges in Archival Theft, Institutional Acquisition, and Reacquisition,” scheduled on Friday, January 7, 9:30–11:30 a.m. in the Sheraton’s Grand Ballroom C (Session 2, p. 72).

• Graham Hodges (Colgate Univ.) replaces Gary Nash (UCLA) as commentator on the session, “Black Loyalists or Black Revolutionaries?” scheduled on Friday, January 7 from 9:30–11:30 a.m. in the Convention Center’s Room 602 (Session 7, p. 73).

• Orville Vernon Burton (Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) replaces Christopher Clark (Univ. of Warwick) as chair and Russell L. Johnson (Univ. of Otago) has been added as commentator on the session, “Warwork: Soldiering, Labor, and the Anglo-American Transition to Capitalism, 1759–1945,” scheduled on Friday, January 7, 2:30–4:30 p.m. in the Convention Center’s Room 211 (Session 35, p. 90).

• Session 44, “Playing God with the Vox Populi: Folklore, Nationalism, and Romanticism in Nineteenth-Century Germany and Russia,” scheduled for Friday, January 7, 2:30–4:30 p.m., has been cancelled (p. 93).

• Ephraim Shoham-Steiner (Ben-Gurion Univ. of the Negev) will be unable to participate in Session 78, “Medieval Critiques of Intercession in Christianity, Islam, and Judaism” (p. 117). The session, scheduled for Saturday, January 8, 9:30–11:30 a.m., is in the Convention Center’s Room 205.

• Molly Todd (Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison) was omitted from the index of participants. She is delivering the paper “Citizen Refugees: The Recasting of History and Nation by Salvadoran Peasants in Exile, 1979–89” in Session 93, “Reconstructing History and Homeland: Migration, Memory, and Identity in a Transnational Context” scheduled for Saturday, January 8, 2:30–4:30 p.m. in the Convention Center, Room 615 (p. 131).

• Pierre Asselin (Kapiolani Community Coll.) will be unable to comment on Session 141, “Archives, Artifacts, and Artistry in the Secondary Classroom: The Vietnam War as Case Study.” The session is scheduled for Sunday, January 9, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in the Convention Center’s Room 613 (p. 163).

• Frank Trey Proctor III (Whitman Coll.) replaces Kevin Roberts (New Mexico State Univ.) on Session 164, and will deliver the paper “Slave to Love: Slavery, Bigamy, and Identity in New Spain.” The session, “Race, Caste, and Religion in Colonial Latin America: New Approaches to Identity Formation,” is scheduled for Sunday, January 9, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in the Convention Center’s Room 308 (p. 172).

• Nicole von Germeten (Oregon State Univ.) has changed the title of her paper to “Piety in Ports, Mines and Capitals: African Brotherhoods in New Spain and New Granada.” The session, " Race, Caste, and Religion in Colonial Latin America: New Approaches to Identity Formation, " scheduled for Sunday, January 9, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., is in the Convention Center’s Room 308 (Session 164, p. 172).

• Christopher W. Schmidt (Harvard Univ.) will be unable to participate in Session 167, “Civil Rights and Conservatism in Postwar America,” scheduled on Sunday, January 9, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in the Convention Center’s Room 204 (p. 173).
