When you click the submit button, you should receive online confirmation, and confirmation at the e-mail address you specified above. If you do not receive these confirmations, we may not have received your advertising submission. If this happens, you may wish to contact AdManager@historians.org to request a manual verification.

Disclaimer regarding online-only advertisements: Institutions should be aware that the Department of Labor does not recognize online-only ads as sufficient to advertise a position that could lead to permanent resident status for a foreign national. Accordingly, the AHA recommends advertising in the print edition of Perspectives, or in another print venue such as The Chronicle of Higher Education, in addition to advertising online. In particular, for those positions where a department anticipates a number of foreign applicants, departments are strongly advised to advertise in print.
