The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation provides fellowships for advanced professionals in numerous fields (including natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, creative arts). For the 2008 competition the foundation will be offering a new fellowship in the field of Constitutional Studies. Fellowships are given for a minimum of six months and a maximum of twelve months. The average amount of a fellowship grant in 2007 was approximately $40,211, and around 220 grants are awarded each year. Deadline for applications is September 15, 2007.
