Release of the Brothman/Moskowitz Grand Jury Records

Elisabeth Grant | Oct 29, 2008

Last Friday, October 24, the government released the Brothman/Moskowitz grand jury records through the National Archives web site. This is the latest development in the release of the Julius and Ethel Rosenberg case court records, which the AHA helped petition for.

This latest release contains most notably the testimonies of Harry Gold and Elizabeth Bentley, but also grand jury testimony from Vivian Glassman (Pataki), Edith Levitov (Garduk), and Frank Wilentz. George Washington University’s National Security Archive has created two PDF documents for those interested in this case: a chronology of the Rosenberg case and a list and description of the witnesses.

See all posts related to the Rosenberg files release, here on AHA Today. Or see the most recent coverage from the National Coalition for History and the National Security Archive.
