Grant of the Week: Michael E. DeBakey Fellowship in the History of Medicine

Sadie Bergen | May 13, 2016

Every week, AHA Today showcases a new grant, fellowship, or scholarship of interest to historians which has been posted to our free Calendar. This week we are featuring a new fellowship from the National Library of Medicine.

Earlier this year, the National Library of Medicine (NLM) announced its receipt of a generous gift from the DeBakey Medical Foundation to support enhanced access to the Michael E. DeBakey Archives at the NLM and to establish the Michael E. DeBakey Fellowship in the History of Medicine: https://www.nlm.nih.gov/news/debakey-medical-foundation-gift.html

NLM is now pleased to announce the first call for applications to the Michael E. DeBakey Fellowship in the History of Medicine. To receive consideration, all materials must be submitted via this online application form, by 5pm EDT, September 1, 2016.

Complete details are here: https://www.nlm.nih.gov/hmd/informationfor/debakeyfellowship.html
