Letter of Concern Regarding the Possible Closure of the Illinois State Museum

James Grossman, executive director of the American Historical Association, has written to Governor Rauner and legislative leaders expressing concern about a proposal to close Illinois State Museum facilities. The AHA recognizes the important work that historians in museums do to preserve local heritage and educate citizens about the past.
