Sandy Hyatt is an online history adjunct professor. She lives in Missouri and has been a member since 2006.

Fields of interest: American history, diplomacy, religious and cultural history

When did you first develop an interest in history?

As a young person, born outside Boston and raised in Upstate New York, who could escape an interest in history?!

What projects are you working on currently?

Religious and philosophical world views

Have your interests changed since graduate school? If so, how?

I lean more toward world history than US history with an emphasis on religion.

I value the opportunity to reach across spectrums of social, economic, and philosophical lines to study common cultural issues of life.
