Grant of the Week: NEH/DFG Digital Humanities Project Grants

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft e.V., DFG) are jointly offering grants to support digitization projects in the humanities. Recipients of these grants will receive funding for up to three years of work on new digitization projects and pilot projects; the addition of important materials to existing digitization projects; or the development of tools and infrastructure to enhance the use of digitized resources and support international digitization work. Awards range from $100,000 to $350,000, and any U.S. nonprofit organization with IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is eligible, as are state and local governmental agencies and tribal governments.
