The Society of California Archivists is accepting applications for its 2011 Western Archives Institute, an intensive, two-week program that provides integrated instruction in basic archival practices to individuals with a variety of goals. To help with the fees of the institute ($700 tuition, transportation, and housing costs), applicants can also apply for the Scholarship for the Western Archives Institute. Applications for the Western Archives Institute are due April 1, 2011, those interested in the related scholarship should mark the appropriate box on that form.
