Check out Digital Alley in the exhibit hall (Hilton, Galleria Exhibit Hall)! You can meet face-to-face with groups offering the latest in software, digital platforms, and more. The AHA is proud to bring this new space to the annual meeting to help bring historians and digital exhibitors together.

CogBooks
CogBooks’ adaptive courseware provides each student with real-time support by intelligently personalizing the material as they progress. Because the learning is personalized, it can provide the instructor with deep insight into each student’s activities and capabilities. When combined with real time classrooms, these tools significantly improve the connection between instructor and student.

They are seeking additional partners to participate in further development.

Written history needs maps, and often this requires the creation of custom maps that don’t otherwise exist. Ortelius is a unique design application used to create custom map graphics. Ortelius’ cartography tools specialize in simplifying tedious tasks that make manual map design a challenge. Featuring tools that go well beyond a simple drawing program, Ortelius is a perfect complement to mapping the historical context. Made for Mac OS X.
