Grant of the Week: Jews in the Americas

Zoe Jackson | Apr 26, 2017

Every week, AHA Today showcases a new grant, fellowship, or scholarship of interest to historians which has been posted to our free Calendar. This week we are featuring the University of Florida’s short-term research fellowships to study Jews in the Americas.

The Alexander Grass Chair in Jewish History and the Price Library of Judaica at the University of Florida invite applications for short-term (maximum one month-long) research fellowships to study different aspects of the Jewish experience in Latin America, the Caribbean, and the southern regions of the United States during the 2017-2018 academic year in the Price Library. Fellows will be asked to deliver a public talk or a seminar while on campus and will be invited to participate in a conference on the Jewish experience in the Americas during fall 2018.
