Tuesday’s midterm elections have caused quite a political shift, but what does it all mean for education? Besides electing new representatives, votes were cast in a number of states for education related referenda. Perhaps the most significant of these is Proposal 06-2, passed by Michigan, which bans the use of affirmative action at public universities.
