Grant of the Week: ACLS Fellowships

The American Council of Learned Societies invites research applications in all disciplines of the humanities and humanities-related social sciences. The ultimate goal of the project should be a major piece of scholarly work by the applicant. The ACLS Fellowships are intended as salary replacement to help scholars devote six to twelve continuous months to full-time research and writing. Maximum awards include: $60,000 for full professor and equivalent (17 fellowships available); $40,000 for associate professor and equivalent (18 fellowships available); and $35,000 for assistant professor and equivalent (22 fellowships available).  For more information see the ACLS Fellowships page.
