This coming January 7–10, 2010 make your way to sunny San Diego for the AHA’s 124th Annual Meeting.  This event offers opportunities for sharing scholarship, finding jobs, and exploring the San Diego area from the Gaslamp Quarter to the Marina to the beach.

Now posted on the AHA’s Annual Meeting page is information on hotel accommodations, meeting registration rates, the exhibit hall, getting around, and more.

Registration and housing for the 124th Annual Meeting will open on Tuesday, September 15. The reduced preregistration rates will be available from September 15 through December 18. Once registered (through member services for members or through the registration page for non-members) you’ll receive a link for housing.

While the 2010 meeting’s theme is Oceans, Islands, and Continents, the range of topics to be covered at the meeting will be wide and varied, with something for everyone in the field of history. Keep checking back to the Annual Meeting web page for frequent updates in the coming months.
