A New Voice for History in Washington

Robert B. Townsend | Dec 22, 2006

Leland White, the new Director of the National Coalition for History, just posted his first report over at History News Network. In addition to offering a statement of his priorities as history’s advocate in Washington, he also reports on the GAO report about Smithsonian/Showtime venture, the historians who received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the latest on the Environmental Protection Agency’s efforts to close its scientific libraries.

Welcome, Lee!
