Grant of the Week: Cokie Roberts Fellowship for Women's History

Alana Venable | Apr 4, 2022

Every week, Perspectives Daily showcases a new grant, fellowship, or scholarship that has been posted to our free community calendar. This week we are featuring a call for applications for the Cokie Roberts Fellowship for Women's History.

The Cokie Roberts Research Fund for Women’s History will support one to three annual fellowships for graduate students, journalists, historians or authors who perform new research to elevate women’s history using the records held by the National Archives. Recipients of the fellowship will perform original document research from the National Archives on women’s history for a published article or essay appearing in a newspaper, magazine, website, book, or academic publication.

Applications are due to the National Archives Foundation by April 30, 2022 and the fellowship will be announced in mid-June 2022. The official fellowship period will run September 1, 2022 to August 30, 2023.

Up to $12,000 will be available for one or two fellowships in 2022.

End: April 30, 2022
