Grant of the Week: Thoreau Society Fellowships

Karen Lou | Mar 29, 2021

Every week, Perspectives Daily showcases a new grant, fellowship, or scholarship that has been posted to our free community calendar. This week we are featuring the Thoreau Society Fellowships.

Criteria

The Thoreau Society is now accepting proposals for its 2021 fellowships. The Marjorie Harding Memorial Fellowship and the Thoreau County Conservation Association Graduate Student Fellowship both support projects that advance Thoreau studies or contribute to related fields (Transcendentalism, civil disobedience and social justice, environmentalism and conservation, etc.). Preference will be given to proposals that target materials held at the Thoreau Institute Library in Lincoln, Massachusetts, including the Walter Harding Collection, or materials held in Boston-area archives.

Amount

The award amount is $1,000.

End: April 1, 2021
