The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) recently announced the 2013-14 Charles A. Ryskamp and Frederick Burkhardt Fellowship winners. These two programs, funded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, support scholars embarking on large-scale research projects at critical stages in their academic careers.

Among the list of fellows are AHA members Jacob S. Dorman, assistant professor at the University of Kansas, Louise E. Walker, assistant professor at Northeastern University, Adria L. Imada, associate professor at the University of California, San Diego and Margaret O’Mara, associate professor and director of graduate studies at the University of Washington.
