Grant of the Week: Phillips Fund Grants for Native American Research

The American Philosophical Society is awarding a grant for research in Native American linguistics and ethno history, focusing on the continental United States and Canada. The grant is given for a maximum of one year from date of award to cover travel, tapes, and consultants’ fees.

Eligibility
Applicants may be graduate students pursuing either a master’s or a doctoral degree; post-doctoral applicants are also eligible.

Award
The award amount ranges from $1,000 to $3,500.The APS will notify grant award winners in May. For more information about the fellowship and application requirements, please visit their website.
