For the sixth year in a row, AHA annual meeting hotels will be offering signature cocktails at their bars. The libations will be available during AHA18 at the Marriott Wardman Park, Omni Shoreham Hotel, and the Washington Hilton. Now it’s up to you to help us give these cocktails historically relevant names!
Meeting location (Washington, DC) and general historical practices are always good starting points. Previous years’ winners have included gems such as Martini Luther, the Absinthe-Minded Professor, and Revise and Resubmit.
Submit suggestions for the Name that Cocktail! competition in the comments section on this post below or on Facebook. You can also tweet your ideas using the hashtag #AHA18. We will aggregate the suggestions and open voting on December 15. We will relay the winning names to the hotel bars, who will craft customized cocktails for AHA18 attendees to enjoy. Contestants with winning entries will enjoy a complimentary cocktail at the annual meeting. So put on your thinking caps and send us your best suggestions! Cheers!
