Grant of the Week: Hench Post-Dissertation Fellowship

The Hench Post-Dissertation Fellowship is a special year-long residential fellowship offered by the American Antiquarian Society for scholars who’ve received their doctorates in the past 3 years. The fellowship allows the recipient time and resources to extend research and/or to revise their dissertation for publication. Applicants may come from such fields as history, literature, American studies, political science, art history, music history, and others relating to America in the period of the Society’s coverage (American history through 1876). The twelve-month stipend for this fellowship is $35,000. The deadline to apply for this fellowship is tomorrow, October 15, 2011.
