The deadline for nominations (including self-nominations) to the Beveridge Family Teaching Prize has been extended to May 15. The Prize this year will recognize groups who demonstrate excellence and innovation in K-12 history teaching, including career contributions and specific initiatives. The prize carries a cash award plus $250 in travel expenses to the 127th AHA annual meeting in New Orleans. To be eligible, the group must be composed of a majority of K-12 teachers. Each letter of nomination must include the name and address of an individual in the group that can be contacted. Please note that self-nominations are allowed.
