Grant of the Week: National History Teacher of the Year Award

The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History presents the National History Teacher of the Year award each year in its effort to promote the study and love of American history and honor outstanding American history teachers across the United States. State winners receive a $1,000 prize and an archive of classroom resources. The national winner receives a $10,000 prize presented at an award ceremony. The nomination deadline is February 1, 2011.
