For the eighth year in a row, AHA annual meeting hotels will be offering signature drinks at their bars. The mocktails and cocktails will be available during AHA20 at the Bridges Bar and Lobby Lounge at the New York Hilton.
Now it’s up to you to help us give these drinks historically relevant names! Meeting location (New York City) and general historical and scholarly practices are always good starting points. Previous years’ winners have included gems such as The Haymarket Rye-It, Moscow Mueller, and the Absinthe-Minded Professor.
Submit suggestions for the competition in the comments section on this post below or on Facebook. You can also send us your ideas on Twitter using #AHA20. We will aggregate the suggestions and open voting on Friday, December 13. We will relay the winning names to the hotels, who will craft customized cocktails and mocktails for AHA20 attendees to enjoy. Contestants with winning entries will enjoy a complimentary drink at the annual meeting. So put on your thinking caps and send us your best suggestions! Cheers!
