The National Historical Publications and Records Commission has awarded $397,332, its largest records grant ever, to an innovative partnership of the New York State Archives and Records Administration and the Center for Technology in Government (CTG). The grant will fund a two-year project to develop practical guidelines for secondary uses of electronic records. The CTG is a nationally renowned research center at the State University of New York at Albany. It pursues new ways of applying computing and communications technology to the practical problems of information management and service delivery in the public sector.
