Grant of the Week: Heineken Prize for History

Established in 1990, the Dr. A.H. Heineken Prize for History rewards outstanding scholarly achievement in the field of history. It consists of a trophy representing a silver water clock, which stands for the symbol of Clio, and a cash prize of $150,000. To be eligible for the Dr A.H. Heineken Prize for History, nominees should be active scholars who are expected to continue their research activities for at least ten years. Their achievements in the field of history are outstanding and a source of inspiration to others. The deadline for nominations is November 1, 2009.
