AHA Staff | Jun 20, 2008

The Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies offers two fellowship awards for OutHistory, their LGBTQ history web site in development. Winners will be awarded $2,500 in order to fund the research and development of a historical exhibit for the web site that will uploaded onto the site at the end of fellowship period. In the interest of building a deep and broad site that embraces multiple elements of queer history, OutHistory encourages proposed exhibits on under researched areas of LGBTQ histories. Previous experience in historical research and/or LGBTQ studies is a must and preference be given to independent scholars. Knowledge of internet technologies is not required – CLAGS will provide all necessary technical assistance and support. The deadline for applications is July 15, 2008. See the CLAGS fellowship page for more information.
