The American Philosophical Society is offering Sabbatical Fellowships in the humanities and social sciences to mid-career faculty of universities and 4-year colleges in the United States who have been granted a sabbatical/research leave, but for whom financial support from the home institution is available for only part of the year. The Sabbatical Fellowship carries a stipend of $30,000 to $40,000. In 2008-2009 the Society awarded 16 sabbatical fellowships.
