Wendi Maloney joins the staff at Perspectives with this issue, after former Associate Editor Emily Frye departed to pursue a law degree.

As the new assistant editor, Maloney will oversee the Employment Information Bulletin, as well as the Research, Awards and Fellowships, and Meetings columns. She will also serve as editor of the 1994 editions of Grants and Fellowships and Doctoral Dissertations.

Robert B. Townsend, managing editor of publications, will assume all the duties of advertising manager for the American Historical Review, Perspectives, and the Annual Meeting Program.
